We offer the full suite of services to prepare text for publication and distribution to audiences. Our approach is to work with publishers and authors to strengthen and enhance the structure, content, voice, tone and style of the text, and its potential to connect with readers. To ensure that the work is on time, error free and of the highest quality, we follow a co-developed project plan and work to a style sheet, which we can develop should one not be available.

We develop pitches and accept commissions to produce written work and other content anchored in text. It could be as small as a feature article, a report or website copy, or as large as a full publication developed to specification. Our member-based model allows us to find the right person for the job, regardless of the type or genre of the work.

We offer advice on developing impactful communication strategies, plans, products and platforms, and can implement them, too. We work at the intersection of strategy, media and editorial to bring simplicity, clarity and harmony to complex information for any use. We believe in narrative; in the power of stories to inspire people. While we prefer approaches that aim to commune with audiences — which entails creating mechanisms for their meaningful participation — we know each situation is unique. It all starts with listening, confirming understanding, interrogating assumptions and then, together, devising strategies to bring goals into conversation with the needs, realities and aspirations of audiences.

Anyone can learn to write well with the right training, coaching and support. That is the founding belief of our customised training workshops, where we work with participants over time, either one-on-one or as a group, to understand and develop a writing process that works for them — ideally working hands-on with a piece or body of work that will eventually be published. Our goal is to build on what participants already know and appreciate of their own writing process. Most of all, ours is a writer development process that is affirming, rewarding and fun.

We serve as reporters and rapporteurs for events, conferences, meetings and other gatherings, where we prepare, at the end, a record of proceedings to specification. Text, audio, video or multimedia — it all depends on need and purpose.
